Brantford's Canada Day Celebration 2014
This year was my third time shooting Canada Day Celebrations in Brantford making it a great opportunity to have a look back at some of the older shots.
The first time I shot Canada Day in Brantford was 2011, and the great part was that the city of Brantford liked my pictures enough to use a couple of them on their site including the picture below.
The second time was in 2012.
And this brings us to now: 2014.
I met Tom Wilson my first year photographing The Hamilton Music Awards and I didn't want to miss his son's band; Harlan Pepper, nor his performance. I think they were great!
Brian Thompson was the official photographer of the event, and sure enough he was hanging out backstage with his camera.
I know Danielle from elementary school, and had to stop by her booth to get a photo of her and her supporting family.
Walking around I noticed this cute little train.
And of course Brantford's famous photo flag.
I just love the sun in this shot.
This officer stopped to look back at his coworkers but to me it felt as though her turned to pose for the shot.
And then came time for the fireworks.
