Frosty Fest 2015
With highs of -7, -25, and -18 celsius Frosty Fest lived up to its name this year. Initially I planned on attending all three days, however as the forecast got colder, and colder I chose the warmest day. Upon arrival the wind was fierce, and the snow was pouring down. It was a delight to see the volunteers enjoying their time, despite the cold weather.
Brantford has a few local celebrities including Marco the Clown who is Canada's only blind clown http://www.marcotheclown.ca.
Despite the weather, many still came out to enjoy Canada's second largest winter carnival that was brought to you by Freedom House http://freedomhouse.ca.
The event had two main attractions including an outdoor ice rink where families could go skating. There were also daily staking demonstrations by our local skating stars.
There was also an indoor portion of the event which included inflatables, and even a princess party.
